It seems like every month there’s a new celebrity getting into the cannabis business. Next up, longtime comedian Roseanne Barr.

Barr is throwing her name and at least some of her fortune behind a new dispensary license winner in Santa Ana, a southern suburb of Los Angeles, according to the Orange County Register. The vendor will be called “Roseanne’s Joint,” and will sell cannabis products that also bear the comedian’s name.

Construction for the new dispensary could be finished as early as the end of April, and it could open for business in May, according to attorney Aaron Herzberg, a partner in the venture and longtime friend of Barr’s.

Herzberg added that Roseanne’s Joint will feature specialty products such as chocolate-covered macadamia nuts that are grown on Barr’s Hawaii farm and then are infused with THC. Those products and more may also be eventually distributed in other dispensaries around the state, Herzberg said. Barr also may throw her financial weight behind other dispensaries if she gets the opportunity, he said.
