CHART 6.14: Most Common Types Of Ancillary Technology & Product Offerings Ancillary companies providing cultivation technology and products were strongly represented in the survey, representing a total of 37% of responding ancillary technology and product firms. Cultivation is the basis for the entire marijuana industry. This, combined with a highly competitive cultivation landscape in states with unlimited licenses, drives the need for continual efficiency gains and creates a market for cultivation products and technology. In the same vein, cannabis- specific software helps cultivators, dispensaries and others operate legally and efficiently. Growing consumer demand for concentrates and infused products supports the need for related equipment.
