From 2019 to 2023, the industry is expected to add roughly 235,000 full-time equivalent jobs, for a 22% compound annual growth rate. By 2023, the cannabis industry could provide up to 475,000 full-time jobs throughout the United States ― or about the same number of active, full-time members of the U.S. Army.
