Creso is also establishing dual-market licensed cultivation and processing facilities in Canada and Colombia designed to comply with EU-GMP standards. PharmaCielo trades on the Toronto Venture Stock Exchange, while Creso Pharma trades on the Australian Securities Exchange. Hexo’s Greek Adventure An affiliate of Quebec-based cannabis producer Hexo received a license allowing it to establish cultivation, processing and manufacturing facilities in Greece, the company announced. The affiliate, Hexo Med , is planning to construct a greenhouse and other facilities on a 700,000-square- foot plot in Larissa, Greece. Construction of a roughly 320,000-square-foot facility is expected to start in the fourth quarter, the company said. Hexo also plans to launch hemp-based products in eight U.S. states next year. Green Organic Dutchman Launches Hemp Division The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings (TGOD) in Mississauga, Ontario, launched a Global Strategic Hemp Division. This new division will leverage TGOD’s experience in the European hemp CBD market to accel- erate the development and commercialization of new products across its network of international partners. TGOD, through its European subsidiary, HemPoland , already has signed a distribution agreement with Mediakos , a German pharmaceutical distributor, and started discussions with co-packers and additional distributors to continue expanding its footprint across Europe. High Park Holdings Enters CA$30 Million Product Deal with Zenabis Zenabis in Vancouver, British Columbia, entered into an agreement with High Park Holdings , a wholly owned subsidiary of Tilray in Nanaimo, British Columbia. High Park will advance CA$30 million ($22.9 million) to Zenabis in return for a monthly quantity of dried cannabis starting in October. Zenabis expects the prepaid amount to be retired within a year. Canary Partners with CANABC to Serve Micro License Applicants Canary Rx , a subsidiary of Target Group of Norfolk County, Ontario, entered into a strategic alliance agreement with CANABC Services in Kelowna, British Columbia, to provide consulting and distribution ser- vices to micro-business license applicants. CANABC is a medical and regulatory consulting firm that has assisted more than 8,000 patients to obtain medical cannabis documents from Health Canada. With support from Canary, CANABC will now offer a comprehensive suite of consulting services to assist micro-cultivation, processing and nursery applicants to obtain licenses under the Cannabis Act. CannAmerica Enters Licensing, Branding Pact CannAmerica Brands Corp. in Vancouver, British Columbia, entered into a long-term licensing agreement and brand partnership with Total Herbal Care Corp. (THC), under which THC will have an exclusive license to manufacture and distribute CannAmerica-branded, cannabis-infused gummy products, disposable vape pens, distillate droppers as well as shatter and wax concentrates. Under terms of the agreement, THC will purchase all un-infused consumable ingredients, packaging supplies and branded hardware exclusively from CannAmerica and follow its formulations and processes. Canadian CBD Company Closes $20 Million U.S. Pharma Acquisition Alternate Health Corp. in Toronto, which provides hemp-derived CBD extraction, product development and distribution, acquired 100% of Blaine Labs in Santa Fe Springs, California. The deal was valued at $20 million. Blaine Labs offers support facilities to foster chemistry research, manufacturing capabilities and physician-direct sales and shipping.
