Ralph Nader, a former presidential candidate who has pushed for the legalization of medical cannabis and industrial hemp, the regulation of marijuana and an end to the war on drugs, will serve as the keynote speaker of the 4th Annual Marijuana Business Conference & Expo this November.
Nader will share his views on the cannabis industry, marijuana legalization and the opportunities and challenges MJ businesses face as the industry grows.
A presidential candidate several times – most recently in 2008 – Nader is a longtime consumer advocate and supporter of small businesses and humane corporate practices.
“Ralph Nader’s support for small businesses, individual liberties and consumer protections are all directly relevant for the marijuana business owner,” said Cassandra Farrington, CEO of Marijuana Business Daily, which runs the event. “We look forward to hearing his insights into the impact that the cannabis legalization movement will have on American society in the coming years.”
The conference – to be held Nov. 11-13 in Las Vegas – will feature more than 200 exhibitor booths and draw an estimated 4,000+ cannabis business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and professionals, according to conference organizers.
