Updated draft rules released by Florida’s Department of Health suggest that regulators may allow delivery of cannabis products throughout the state.

The second draft of the rules, which will govern the implementation of Florida’s recently signed CBD law, will be discussed at a hearing today.

Another notable update is the cost of securing and renewing a dispensary license. That cost would double to $300,000 if the rules are adopted.

The proposed regulations also add new testing and reporting requirements.

Though the program is limited to low-THC products, competition is expected to be fierce for the dispensary licenses.
