Extremely small amounts of some heavy metals, pesticides, microbial growths and residual solvents are safe in medical cannabis, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Other experts, however, argue there isn’t enough scientific evidence to say with certainty what levels of contaminants are not harmful, the Phoenix New Times reported.
