Grow in home or as a member of a cooperative: six plants for personal medical use and up to 8 ounces of usable marijuana produced from their plants A health care practitioner may authorize a patient to possess up to 15 plants for personal medical use and 16 ounces of usable marijuana produced from their plants. Patient registry Voluntary―though medical marijuana patients who choose not to join the authorization database will be subject to recreational possession limits and taxes. Accepts patients from other states? No, but under Washington’s recreational cannabis law, visitors 21 and older may purchase recreational cannabis from any licensed store.
