It also speaks to the lower level of perceived risk as the stigma surrounding cannabis diminishes and the industry continues to prove its legitimacy. Investors likely are bringing more investment money to the table as they are intrigued by the prospect of large returns. Additionally, there are an increasing number of quality cannabis companies available for investment ― and each large-scale investment that occurs, such as Constellation Brands’ billion- dollar investment in Canopy Growth, elevates the perception of the industry.
