Pioneering Colorado Bank Regulator Leaves Post Chris Myklebust , a Colorado state bank and financial services commis- sioner who made it easier for banks in the state to serve marijuana businesses, resigned. A spokeswoman for the Depart- ment of Regulatory Agencies, which announced Myklebust’s departure, told the Denver Post he “is pursuing his own business.” Myklebust was appointed as Colorado’s State Bank Commissioner in July 2015. He served as the state’s commissioner of financial services from 2006 to 2015. Former Food Exec Makes Double Splash Diane Jang , former president at Sunrise Soya Foods and former general manager at Earth's Own Food, has joined two cannabis companies. Alberta, Canada-based Aurora Can- nabis appointed Jang to its board of directors. And Hempco Food and Fiber – a British Columbia-based manufacturer and distributor of hemp food products for humans and animals – hired her as CEO. In that post, Jang succeeds Charles Holmes , who will continue to serve as Hempco's president to focus on the commercial development of the organization. Commercialization Pro Joins Hemp Products Company Rocky Mountain High Brands – a Dallas company that spe- cializes in manufacturing and distributing hemp-infused food and beverage products – hired John Blackington as chief commercialization officer. He will direct the company’s prod- uct development, marketing, sales and customer service.
