MJBizDaily launches first print trade publication for America’s marijuana industry

By Anne Holland

CannaBusiness Media, which publishes MMJ Business Daily, announced today that it has launched a national trade journal called CannaBusiness Magazine.

The new publication – which has since morphed into Marijuana Business Magazine – is available via print subscription for marijuana executives and investors in states where medical and recreational cannabis is legal as well as in New York (in recognition of the industry’s importance to the investor community.)

“The industry is maturing rapidly and professionals need more than just news,” said Publisher Cassandra Farrington. “CannaBusiness Magazine gives us the opportunity to present in-depth interviews and advisory information to support the industry’s growth.”

The magazine’s launch issue features articles on how to hire the best cannabusiness employees, how to land investor funding and advice on expanding an existing dispensary business. It also includes new financial data on private equity funds targeting the marijuana marketplace.

Initial sponsors include Denver Relief Consulting, ArcView Investor Network, CannaLaw Group, Marijuana Merchant Service, the National Cannabis Industry Association and CannaTest.

Printed copies of CannaBusiness Magazine will arrive in the postal mailboxes of thousands of MMJ entrepreneurs and investors in legal states shortly. Copies will also be available at the upcoming 2nd Annual National Marijuana Business Conference & Expo, scheduled for Nov. 6-8 outside Seattle.

A digital edition of the launch issue – featuring financial and operational advice for dispensaries, professional cultivators, infused product makers and ancillary industry executives – is available for free at http://www.CannaBusinessMagazine.com
