Canadian cannabis firm Green Growth enters Arizona with $12M Desert Rose purchase

Toronto-based Green Growth Brands is entering its third U.S medical marijuana market with the $12.35 million cash acquisition of ZLJT and Arizona Natural Pain Solutions, better known collectively as Desert Rose.

Arizona had 186,000 registered MMJ patients as of December 2018. Desert Rose serves roughly 400 medical marijuana patients daily.

Green Growth, which trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange as GGB and the over-the-counter markets as GGBXF, also has operations in Massachusetts and Nevada.
