I definitely think that cannabis based businesses should be included in the stimulus package. A bourgeoning industry that, while it probably won’t “fail” without federal help will certainly have a tough time rebounding from such a sales detriment so soon after legalization without some federal assistance. It would certainly help them to retain employees and help the struggling new industry grow in this crucial time, bolstering stock prices and propping up cash strapped companies before the revenues are able to provide much needed profitability.
