Former Mexican President Vicente Fox has expanded his participation in the global legal cannabis industry, joining the board of directors for Denver-based Helix TCS.

This is at least the second appointment to a cannabis company board for Fox, who in July joined the Khiron Life Sciences board of directors.

Fox will serve as a strategic adviser to Helix as it grows into the international cannabis market, the company said in a news release.

Helix, which is involved in marijuana security services, seed-to-sale tracking and wholesale marketplaces, trades on the U.S. over-the-counter markets under the ticker symbol HLIX.
