Marijuana in smokable form is the most popular method of consuming THC in Florida, accounting for approximately 65% of consumption (measured in milligrams of THC).
That share has been steadily rising since Florida started reporting data on marijuana in smokable form on July 18, 2019.
With smokable marijuana being the largest consumption category and continuing to take market share in Florida, it’s important to track the companies that are gaining or losing share.
Trulieve gained a bit of share to 51.9% for February 2020 versus 47.6% in August 2019.
The most impressive market share gainer is Parallel, which has more than tripled its market share from 2.3% in August 2019 to 8.2% in February 2020.
Curaleaf and Liberty Health Sciences have been losing significant market share in the category.
Curaleaf fell to 4.5% market share in February 2020 compared with the 17.4% market share it held in August of 2019.
Liberty fell to 10.4% market share in February 2020 versus the 16.7% market share it held in August 2019.
