With medical marijuana sales expected to begin anytime, Maryland’s MMJ commission has awarded more licenses for businesses around the state.
Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries have until Dec. 15 to open, and industry watchers have estimated 20-30 could be up and running by the new year.
According to the most recent information obtained from the commission, the state now has licensed 35 MMJ cultivators, processors and dispensaries:
