Michigan regulators want medical marijuana dispensaries to test vape pens on their shelves for heavy metals.

Some cartridges recently were found to contain lead contamination.

State officials are concerned especially with cartridges made of metal, citing a Johns Hopkins study on metal leaching issues, according to MLive.com and a state bulletin.
