Marijuana Business Daily and New York-based financial investment advisory firm Cowen on Wednesday announced an exclusive partnership in which MJBizDaily will distribute Cowen’s cannabis industry reports and MJ policy research.
Distribution of Cowen’s cannabis-related research by MJBizDaily is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2020.
Cowen’s cannabis research features Wall Street analyst Vivien Azer.
“This partnership ensures our readers continue to receive the highest-caliber information and business resources produced both internally and via partners like Cowen,” Chris Walsh, president and incoming CEO of Colorado-based MJBizDaily said in a statement.
Lisa M.C. Thomas, managing and associate director of research for Cowen, said Azer’s “experience, insight and data-driven approach have made her one of the most respected thought leaders in the space.”
The partnership was announced in Las Vegas as MJBizDaily kicked off its annual MJBizCon trade show, the largest gathering of medical and recreational marijuana industry officials in the world.
MJBizCon is expected to draw more than 35,000 people from over 75 countries.
