Net loss for cannabis firm MJardin balloons in 2018

Denver-based MJardin Group reported revenue for 2018 of 27.5 million Canadian dollars ($20.4 million), up 38% over revenue in 2017.

The marijuana company recorded a net loss for 2018 of CA$84.3 million, compared with a year-ago profit of CA$1.5 million, primarily stemming from losses connected to Canadian cultivation operations.

MJardin operates cultivation, processing and retail facilities in North America and trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the ticker symbol MJAR.
