New Mexico adult-use marijuana bill might face long odds in final stretch

Legislation that would legalize recreational cannabis in New Mexico but under a mostly government-run retail structure faces an uphill climb.

Although the House passed the measure, a key New Mexico Senate chair told the Santa Fe Reporter it’s unlikely the bill will be considered in his committee before the legislative session ends Saturday.
