Thanks to medical marijuana activist Lanny Swerdlow, we’ve got a copy of the tentative court decision in the case of Riverside CA versus a local medical marijuana center. Why does this matter to you? We’re not lawyers, but according to Lanny the decision could mean every city and town in CA could circumvent state laws and vote to shut down storefront MMJ centers in their locale (but perhaps not delivery services) by simply changing zoning laws.
It’s only a tentative decision, not final. The court is setting up dates now to further consider the question, as activists are girding their loins for yet another battle. In the meantime, we’ve posted a copy of the PDF of the court decision here for you.
