A lack of operational labs has been a big concern to Ohio’s marijuana businesses because state law requires that cannabis be tested for potency and purity before sales at dispensaries can begin.
Regulators have licensed five labs.
Hocking expected to receive its first test samples for testing on Jan. 9, according to Athens public TV station WOUB.
More information about the lab’s opening can be found here.
Massachusetts is throttling testing labs as a way to limit the number and rate at which recreational dispensaries can open. It’s completely against what the voters asked for and bad for business. When will politicians realize they were voted into office to follow the guidance of their constituents, not their own personal political agenda?
