Technology giant Hewlett-Packard is partnering with a marijuana compliance software company, becoming the latest mainstream company to dip its toe in the cannabis industry.

The Palo Alto, California, technology company will preinstall cannabis point-of-sale and compliance software from Flowhub on its own POS terminals, known as HPElitePOS.

The two companies said in a news release the terminals will be directed at marijuana retailers and cultivators.

Flowhub, headquartered in Denver, raised $3.25 million last year. Financial terms of the HP deal weren’t disclosed.

HP is the latest major company to delve into the cannabis industry through partnerships or other avenues.

Others include pharma giant Novartis, alcohol giant Constellation Brands, lawn and garden company Scotts Miracle-Gro and software titan Microsoft.
