Two Massachusetts agencies agreed to share information with each other to determine if six probable cases of vaping-related lung illnesses are linked to state-licensed marijuana retailers.

The Virginia Board of Pharmacy voted to pursue emergency regulations banning vitamin E acetate in vaping products, a substance that has been linked to lung illnesses across the country. The ban requires approval by the state’s Attorney General’s office, the Virginia Mercury reported. The board also recommended the state health commissioner take action on vitamin E acetate.
