Brett Heyman had led PR efforts at Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana before launching a line of clutches – named Edie Parker, after her daughter – in 2010 that quickly took off thanks to vocal fans such as Lady Gaga, Solange Knowles and Kate Hudson.
