Oregon Gov. Kate Brown signed a bill into law that enables state regulators to deny new cultivation licenses in efforts to curb a cannabis glut that has led to price crashes and illicit market sales in the state.
The new law could greatly benefit cannabis businesses that have experienced sharp price drops and increasing competition from bigger players.
The law also is designed to reduce diversions to the illicit market that sparked federal prosecutors to threaten a crackdown.
Who cares? Cant get that tax revenue? WHAT??
This is absolutely the only thing I agree with this woman has ever done as Oregon Governor..she is ruining Oregon..Portland to Eugene should be cut out of Oregon like a case of merica!
The law was originally for small local businesses . Then it changed to allow huge out of state Corp. That put us out of business!
